Dr. Bill Pfister, MPT, DPT, CLT, has been very active in the world of physical therapy. As an engaged member of Washington State's Private Practice Special Interest Group and a former director on the American Physical Therapy Association's Private Practice Section board, he is deeply involved in shaping the future of the field. Currently, he serves as the US Liaison to the International Private Physiotherapy Association, fostering global connections in physiotherapy and private practice.

Dr. Pfister's academic journey began at California State University Hayward, where he earned his B.S. in Kinesiology with a focus on Pre-Physical Therapy. His leadership skills were honed as the captain of the collegiate basketball team, earning him an Academic All-American award. He furthered his education at Rutgers University and The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, receiving his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2003. In 2018, he completed his post-professional DPT at EIM's Institute of Health Professionals and graduated from Evidence in Motion's Executive Program in Private Practice Management.
Clinically, with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Pfister is renowned for his advanced competencies in post-surgical spine rehabilitation, often sharing his expertise at prestigious neurosurgical conferences. He also specializes in lymphedema, working as an expert in pre- and post-surgical breast cancer treatment alongside some of Western WA's top oncologists and cancer teams. He has also developed a reputation of being one of the best physical therapists who works with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, optimizing their function, and helping them successfully return to their sport.
